Thanks to the internet we, ladies, now have a steady source of information even about the things we cannot talk about with our closest friends. These are, of course, issues related to the most intimate part of our body, our reproductive system and organs.
Here are some issues we should be on the lookout for. Vaginal discharge is always something we should be alerted about. Whether pregnant or not, vaginal discharge is something we should not disregard as nothing. There are of course allowable and normal discharge quantities and qualities, and anything associated with itchiness, burning or pain is not common.
Generally, colored discharges are not normal and should be monitored. Like the old saying goes – if symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Boils are another unmentionable subject because it connotes that we have terrible personal hygiene. While this may be occasionally true, it is not entirely due to bad hygiene.
It is sometimes having to do with our genetic makeup and our physical activities. Another embarrassing topic is when we suddenly have menstruation-like discharges, even if we know we are two weeks away from our period.
That is why it is constantly advisable to carry around some feminine emergency kits such as panty liners, feminine napkins, tampons, wet ones and some small feminine liquid wash so that we can always be prepared for any kind of emergency. After all, we don’t want to have a really bad day because of these so-called female issues which we can’t even discuss publicly in the first place, right?
